So, I've always wondered why the hell everyone is so freaked out women showing off their nipples. You can show as much as you want of a tit, except for the nip...why? Everyone has them, unless they've been shaved off or attacked by a wild animal. Can anyone think of the reason people are so against women showing their nipples?

If you ever find out, please clue me in. I have been asking this question for years. What makes a female's nipples more dangerous or threatening than a man's? It has got to be a hold out from Victorian times or something. After all, it can't be the size of the breasts... There are women who are as flat-chested as any boy, and men with big ol' boobies. I just don't get it.

Exactly. I think I excepted this as normal when I was younger, but the older I got, I just couldn't make heads or tails of it. What's so offensive about a little pointy pink piece of flesh? It's not like seeing a nipple is going to traumatize someone...

I don't have the foggiest clue but when you figure it out - or anyone else, for that matter - let us know.

My sister gave me crap for wearing a tank top without a bra around her step-son who has just hit puberty. Uh, really didn't know you were bringing the squirt with you and secondly, what is the big friggin' deal?

That kid sees more T&A going to homeroom than he did that day. Though, he does hug me a little tighter these days. *ick*

I have no clue, maybe it has something to do with breastfeeding. On another note, I once watched a talk show where a guy was terrified of his girlfriend touching his nipples because he once saw somebody slide shirtless down a tree and have a nipple scraped off by tree bark.

LOL And they aren't even that big! Or perky anymore. *pouts* But I was really truly offended that I was at my home and she was giving me crap about it. It was a black tank top on top of that. Not like it was see-through or white or anything. But, she also over-reacts at the first possible chance.
