I won a 36 inch flatscreen TV from a raffle. The tickets were free too, so there was no purchase price involved.

My late step-dad won a cruise, because I put his name in the raffle (I put all of our names in). He was so confused and excited when they called his name during the concert. He and my dad got married on that cruise.

I won $175 via bingo and winning a dance contest. Then a week later got a speeding ticket for the same amount XI lol.

That's so amazing!

I've won a few smaller things, but nothing huge. I won a DVD player back when I was 15. That was pretty awesome at the time since our family hadn't upgraded from our VCR yet.

that's how things in life usually happen. the flat screen that I won got broken, since I didn't buy it I didn't have a warranty or anything. It's still nice to have won something though.

#1 - Eden Rumble for this review. That was pretty awesome!

#2 - $25 gift certificate for groceries.

#3 - A copy of David Bowie's Serious Moonlight tour video and poster. I won it from a music magazine. You had to mail in postcards with the answer to a particular question. I mailed in 10 entries with the wrong answer...the ONE postcard with the right answer later on, and I won!

The one time I've won a raffle was a couple of weeks ago. I won a box of Sir Richard's condoms and a big bar of chocolate. Best event ever. Sure it isn't a flat screen tv, but still.
