What's in your trail mix?

Trail mix is one of my absolute favorite snacks. When I was down in Florida, I found that Target carried a kind that was essentially perfect for me - yogurt-covered peanuts, chocolate, dried mangoes, banana chips, raisins, craisins, dried pineapple and cashews. It also had almonds, coconut and dried apricots, which I definitely could have done without, but other than the omissions, I'm pretty sure that the only thing I would have changed was to just make the raisins chocolate covered instead of having actual pieces of chocolate inside. Hands down my favorite trail mix, and I'm actually pretty sad that even though Target's finally opening in Canada, there isn't one that's reasonably close (yet), nor do I know if they'll even be selling it here. How do you like your delicious snack combinations?

Trail, of course. Lol. Kidding.

Haven't had any in a long time, but I do love trail mix. I have just made my own using raising, little chocolate and peanut butter chips, granola and nuts.

Yum! I love dried fruit. I really overdid myself on the dried banana chips for a few years though. Lol. I ate them all the time for years and one day, just didn't feel such a love for them. That's just because I went crazy with them for so long. I love all kinds of dried fruit though, and still like bananas occasionally.

I know exactly what you mean! I have done that with numerous foods and I always know that I should have seen it coming. Especially with something like banana chips, because they're so sweet.

Also, I imagine people out on a hike, deciding that they're hungry and reaching down to scoop up some of the path. The most natural kind of trail mix.
