I can't drink yet, and I hate the taste of alcohol. Alcohol DOES make others highly amusing, though.

For date nights (Friday or Saturday), we're ready to unwind a bit, so we typically have drinks. It's more for relaxation after a long work week than it is to get in the mood for sex, but it probably loosens things up as well

We actually don't drink at all, so it's all on us for normal and special nights.

I don't drink and my partner drinks very very little so it really plays no part in our lives.

I completely agree with Sammi! It's nice to relax, have a couple of drinks, unwind, let loose a bit, and forget the week existed. If used in moderation, it can help and not hinder a night of fun.

alcohol does not have much to do with our sex life. a drink or two will loosen her up some, but we dont drink with the plan of getting her loose, so to speak

We don't combine alcohol and romance. It's better if it's just us without influence

Alcohol can help me to loosen up a bit, but I don't drink often. All of my favorite nights didn't involve any alcohol.

A glass of vino is always appreciated but not much more than that. It's good to relax but too much makes for sloppy interactions.

Both hubby and I RARELY drink. IE: Thanksgiving/Christmas dinners only. So alcohol plays no role in our evenings.

I don't drink booze. But, My Man makes up for the two of us, and about 4 other people.

A little loosens him up. Too much and I'm hearing snoring while I'm trying to come.

I had to smack him last night to let him know things were progressing. He was "there" and doing very well before he asked me to grab the Wahl, the vibration frequency of my Wahl must knock him out. He did wake up and continue to perform well for an other hour. Just, I shouldn't have to wake anybody up. Yanno?

We dont need alcohol to have sex but as we have been together off and on for 15 yrs it loosens things up and we are quicker to just grab eachother and throw eachother down!

That is the exact reason I can't drink alcohol if the intent is to have sex afterward. I am the one who falls asleep. I can have 1 beer, but anymore than that, and he'd better make it quick!

We were staying with my parents early on in our marriage (we used to drink a lot back then, rarely now) and we had all been playing pool and drinking all night long. I was bombed and my husband decided we needed to go to bed. Whilst he was taking full advantage of my drunken state, all I remember is something I said, which we still laugh about today, "If you don't stop soon, I'm gonna be sick." He swears he stopped when I passed out shortly thereafter, I still have my doubts.

Neither my SO or I drink. I like it that way. To each their own.

My fiancee and I never drink. I don't really understand why some people HAVE to drink to have a good time.
