I was up way late last night and saw more pillow infomercials then I can could. Sobakowa Beans, Memory Foam, Cooling Beads, Shape Shifting, Light up "comforting", and "white noise" pillows...that I can recall!!! (I was up, but sleepy).
SO...since I still use a plain old fiberfill pillow, I am curious, am I alone? How many people have plain old feather or fiberfill pillows and how many use these "high tech" pillows?
less
Some memory foam type of pillow. Contour something? It has like a curve where one side is higher, the other lower but both sides are rounded. Gosh that probably makes no sense. Lately though, I've been sleeping with what I call my "chair pillow" it's one of those pillows that have arms. I have two & for the past couple months, I've preferred them over my pillow because the pillow was too flat. I like being propped up some. I'd love it if I had a couple of these memory foam pillows to stack up!
Never heard of white noise or cooling bead or Sobakowa pillows. Sounds neat! I'll have to look into them. Lol. My partner recently got one of those as seen on TV pillows he found for really cheap at this local flea market. We get some pretty neat stuff there where you don't have to pay full price. It's like people who work for certain companys and get products for cheap or something like that. That's where my lovie gets my HUGE stocks of kit-kats & chocolate! Lol. Anyways, he has been loving this pillow! Not sure which one it is, but he's really stuck on it. Says it's wonderful. It was one of those that show on TV a lot.
Oh, back to the memory foamy one I have -- my lovie actually got it for me too a couple years ago. I had constant neck issues. Nothing big, but it stayed really tense and was painful if I leaned my head back. I've suffered from migraines as long as I can remember, even as a kid, so he seen the contour thing & thought it'd help the neck issue -- it sure did! It helped big time, so I never used my old regular pillow again. I kept it & put a pretty pink satin pillow case on it, but don't use it. I love the way the memory foam one feels, but as I said, being propped up is more comfy for me lately. It is a huge step up from a flat, regular pillow though & I won't sleep on one anymore. If it's super fluffy, I don't mind, but anything besides that & my neck will be really stiff and achy.
