I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop -- one of the cheapest options available This thing has been through hell... it's been banged up a lot, and dropped at least a dozen times in the year that I've had it, yet it still works wonderfully. The only issue I have with it is that occasionally (once every few weeks) the screen will just randomly show random colorful lines. But, everything gets better with a simple reset.
