What kind of cake do you like?

I voted for them all, lol! If it wouldn't go straight to my hips, I'd eat cake for breakfast lunch and dinner.
The other kinds of cake I like, are Peanut Butter, and Tangerine. Yes I know Tangerine sounds odd, but don't knock it til you try it!! My friend had a tropical wedding, with Tangerine cake. It was absolutely amazing!

I am not a big fan of cake in general, but I do enjoy lemon cake, coffee cake and cheesecake.

I like cake. Almost any kind. Preferably without too much icing. Icing usually detracts for me. Except I love red velvet cake and carrot cake WITH a nice, rich cream cheese frosting.

I love eating the little bits of cake that come off when you even out the layers for stacking. I hate hate hate carrot and spice cakes. Loved them once, but spent a day throwing one of them up and I can't eat either anymore.

I don't consider cheesecake to be an actual cake, so I picked lemon instead. But my favorite cake is a simple yellow cake topped with Cool Whip and fresh sliced bananas or strawberries. Simple and delicious.

I grew up never being a cake fan, let alone a chocolate cake fan.
I now bake & hoard more chocolate cakes than I'd like to admit. I have one recipe that's like a drug. It's dangerously delicious!

I love baking (and eating!) cakes. I don't care much for buttercream icing, so I especially love cakes frosted with cream cheese icing. Carrot cake (without nuts) and red velvet are two of my favorites, but I do have qualms about dumping an entire bottle of food coloring in a single cake.

I, too, wondered why angel and devil's food cake are lumped together in the poll. They are very, very different cakes.

I am not a big cake person, unless it is incredible. I love the lemon bunt cake the my sister makes, and carrot cake if the icing is not very sweet.

Mostly I find that cakes are too sweet. That's my main issue with them.

I love super gaudy cake XD so strawberry is one of my favourites.


I don't really consider cheesecake to be a "cake" but I would do some pretty bad things for cheesecake...
