Lots of folks that I know have kids. (including myself and my wife). So, we've all been itching to go camping and we're getting our fishing licenses and really starting to get everything in order for the big summer trips to the campsites, lakes and swimming pools. We're loving the weather that we're having and it just perks us right up to know that this sort of thing is right around the corner for us! We don't have a lot of money, but when summer time comes around, we make sure to MAKE time and money to make it happen, especially for the kids. They need this sort of thing, in our opinion. So, I was wondering-What is that "Big Summertime Itch" that has you with ants in your pants and ready to get goin!?

I'm looking forward to swimming in the lake and going to the flea market. I'm also going to be doing some 5k runs for charity in the beginning of the summer.

I love concerts, but lately it's been about things my toddler can go to such as butterfly shows or the zoo or whatever else.

Summer time means camping, Six Flags, swimming, and cookouts over at my aunt's house.
We haven't been doing any of that the past few years but it is our general summer activity line up. ^_^
I remember one summer we lived at a campground from June all the way into October, it was amazing. I caught (and released about two hours later) so many cute little froggies that summer it should have gone down in history. x3

I love swimming. I can't think of anything better. I have to wear a TON of sun block to play in the day light, but it's so relaxing.

I love to cook out or have a BBQ with the family. It's really nice.

Don't judge me too harshly for this, but summers to me mean it's Anime convention time. This will be the first year in a long long time that we are not going to Otakon in Baltimore. I'm hoping instead we can make a day trip to the Atlanta Aquarium or the North Carolina Renn Fest.
