Personally, I love just plain crab, salmon, or steamed shrimp. My guy loves crab with cream cheese.

It's soooo hard to pick just one thing. There is a roll at my sushi place that is just raw salmon and scalions with tempora flakes. Yummy. I also love another roll that has cream cheese, scalions, krab, and salmon, then it is baked a little so that the cream cheese gets all warm and melty, it's crazy good. And then add spicey sauce to any roll, and you've got a winner. Aw, now I want sushi.

In terms of ingredients: salmon, tuna, yellowtail, whitefish, crab, cucumber, cream cheese, calamari, and much more.
I have my favorites at just about every good sushi place in our area. If you ever go to a Ra Sushi (there are several around the country), definitely try the Calamari Tempura, Crazy Monkey roll, and Cinnamon Tempura Ice Cream.

Cinnamon Tempura ice cream!? I love cinnamon ice cream, it makes me so sad that the one place I was able to get it at, doesn't carry it any more. I've never heard of Ra Shushi before, guess I'm going to have to do some google searching.

I LIKE IT ALL. As my Profile stated, my favorite food is SUSHI.
Here in the Seattle, you do get the freshest of everything; that's the secret. I've been preparing my own sushi for a few years now and have learned a lot. The other secret in good sushi is the rice and what you addition to the rice. I do all kinds of rolls, like Caterpiller Roll or a Spider Roll. But Hamachi (yellow tail) is my top pick followed by Unagi (eel) which is my dessert! In Japan, there is a whole week set aside to honor the Eel where the people serve it almost for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! You should try it; if you don't like it, I'll buy you ladies lunch

I'm vegan and I'm allergic to avocado, so it pretty much eliminates a whole boat load of things. But I do love veggie tempura rolls and inari

Eel, always eel as the favourite. Though I'll eat just about any kind of sushi.

Oh man, I have lots of things that I really love, and I order usually one of my few staples and something totally new each time. I don't know if I could specify one favorite type.
I definitely have a least favorite, though, and it's Uni. Ew. Worst thing ever to cross my lips ever. My boyfriend at the time thought the looks on my face almost made up for the taste of his... all I can say is I'm never eating sea urchin gonads again.

Inarizushi! A rice ball with sesame seeds, enveloped in a beanbag of sweet, marinated fried bean curd... I haven't eaten it in months. Sigh. It's so good.

I just remembered starting this thread
I am thinking about making some sushi, and I wanted to come back here for some ideas!
I have recently tried eel, and I just wanted to share that it isn't half bad, though not one of my favorites!
