What is your favorite tanning style?

None...It's good to get a little sun and fresh air, but too much won't help you. I sunbathed and tanned at a salon in my teens and 20's not even obsessively (like "leather face Mom" in Florida or wherever she is), but enough that now, my eyelids are discolored and my face is splotchy. I told my pale skin, smooth lidded child to use SPF 50+ and cover her eyes... It's just not worth it for style/fashion reasons. There's nothing uncool about being pale.

I don't really tan. I just turn pink. And then red. And then maybe a little brown. And then it goes away. I like to sunbathe, but more for the sensation. Sunblock for me, then. Keeping my fair skin intact and sunburn-free.

I don't tan. I can, but I choose not to so I don't become a leather couch too soon.

So true. Why give yourself wrinkles when you are older? Pale is beautiful.

I'm with you ladies. My skin can't tan, but I can't burn either. It's really strange. I also have PLME, so I have to wear a lot of sun screen when I go out into the sun. I avoid tans. I don't like them anyhow. Way too orange for me.

I have very light porcelain skin that makes milk took tan. If I want a little color pretty much the only way is a tanning bed because no matter how long I lay in the sun nothing seems to happen unless I don't put enough sunblock on and burn..which eventually fades to a tan, but I obviously don't want to get one that way.

I choose not to tan. Medications and my fair skin makes it almost impossible.

I don't intentionally tan, but I like to be outdoors. I always forget sunblock.

I prefer to slather myself in sunblock, shroud myself in a Coolibar jacket....or not go out at all.

I'm very fair and don't tan. (Also have a family history of melanoma - which can be deadly stuff!) If I'm going to be outside for a while I wear sunscreen. I love my "Snow White" look - very fair skin and very dark hair.

Not tanning!

I layer on the 100 SPF sunblock all the time if it looks like I have to head outside. My arms are getting alight tan from all the gardening... but, I can live with that.

God made every skin tone beautiful. He made me white lol. So I just prefer to enchance my natural tan from the sun, which any skin tone will do. I use alot of face lotion w/ SPF, and waterproof sunscreen. People that say they look darker after a nice sunburn are nutty in my opinion anyway. Taning boths and beds only make you look like rubber. And lastly who the hell knows what is in spray tanner from a salon...
ps. If you have combo skin but is very senstive & zit brone. I use Pr-activ Daily mosturizer w/ SPF. Or a great line of drug-store facial products is named SIMPLY they are all sensitive, fragrance free, dermotoligist tested, and hypoallegenic.

I think pale is sexy. Tanning always makes me worry that people are only one shade away from Jersey Shore.
