I'm a meat-lover so my favorite food is ribeye steak with lots of marbling. My simple recipe: rub it down with olive oil, season with mixed cracked pepper, sea salt, garlic powder, and grill 4 to 6 minutes each side (depending on the thickness of the steak) - very easy and tasty.

My quickest recipe while in Canada would be flash frying up some veggies sliced and cubed (mushrooms, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, onions, eggplant etc...) then add in some sliced tomatoes. There is no oil or salt or spices added just yet.
Then pour in a jar of tomato pasta sauce, add in some minced ginger, garlic, a tablespoon of coconut oil, some sesame seeds and some parsley to garnish.
Pour over a bowl of brown rice. Viola! Yummy goodness!
My family usually adds some cheese as a topping.

Boneless pork chops or boneless chicken breasts
3 Cans Cream of celery or Chicken soup
Lightly oil the slow cooker and layer the chicken or pork chops and soup. Don't add water to your soup. Let cook on low for about 8 hours. Shred the meat and stir back into the soup. Serve over homemade mashed potatoes. I use mayo, salt and pepper in my mashed potatoes to give a creamier and better taste. You can serve with biscuits since the soup is like a gravy.
