It's a lazy Saturday and I have a ton of house cleaning to do. I am trying to get motivated and part of me says "oh, just relax and start this afternoon", another part of my brain says "you know you are more productive in late evening, wait till then", and the third "brain" is screaming.."get it done now, then it's not hanging over your head all day or all weekend"! (We had a bunch of out of town friends in, so both our guest bedrooms need cleaning, sheets/towels need washing, and bathrooms need scrubbing. This is above and beyond the fact that with guests, we didn't do our standard cleaning this week, and even our weekly housekeeper is out of town for two weeks).
Which "brain" do I listen to???
Which is your best time to do "heavy cleaning"?

I'm still chuckling because you sounded just like me!! (I'm dead serious, too, it's kind of like you have the same voices in your head that I do.) And inevitably the "do it now and get it done and over with" kicks in! And you know what? I have never regretted the decision because, in the end, I always find more to do and can make use of my evening energy to even get ahead.
Thank God we don't have to do wash manually! It's so nice to be able to throw in loads and then go do other stuff while it is running. I've never lived in a house where we had to use manual washers, but I still appreciate all the modern conveniences, let me tell you!
I think it's nice of you not to run the vacuum while he's resting, no wonder you two get along so well, you are nice to each other --yeah, I remember about the flowers he brings you, whata guy!
tl;dr, always do it when you can, you never know what might come up later (ahem, maybe a frisky hubby after he awakens?
)
