My poodle's name is Sparky and his AKC name is Sparky the Prince. My son wants his dog to be named Sparky long before we even had our pooch. Besides his common and AKC names, he also has a bunch of nicknames and he responses to all of them, and of course one of those nicknames is Little Prince.

Haha, that name is classic, I love the additional "the Prince"!

I have a few pets, their names are Stormy, Becky, Hannah, Koda, and Jackie.

Becky's full name is Rebecca Emily, Hannah's full name is Hannah Montana (I named her myself, so no, a child wasn't involved in that one LOL) and Jackie's full name is Jacqueline Rose. Some of our pets have fancy schmancy names

My hubby's mom has a dog named POE, short for Piece of Excrement because she likes POE better than POS for pice of shit. POE is cuter lol but the dog always gets in trouble and she yells "you piece of shit" at it jokingly, in that way that pet owners do when they know that cussing at them is ALL that can be done because if you scold them they look at you like "what, are you gonna actually smack me with that paper or just wave it around?" LOL

Zoe Lynn (Lab mix), Ginger rose (Lab mix), Little Bit (Min Pin), Casey (Tabby), Momma and Whitty (White Rock Hens) and Terry the Rooster. We also have a faun deer that comes and visits our yard we named Jane.

Voldemort (Malti-poo). He was born to an inbred mother (Maltese that came from a puppy farm), was not supposed to be born (we tried to keep the parents apart, but he was conceived during a hurricane), looked like an albino slug when he was born, and has twice attempted to kill my mother (by weaving between her legs while walking). His nicknames are "Morty", "Voldie-Beast", and "Boo-Boo" (mom does not seem to hold his murder attempts against him).

He did have a Manx playmate named Dobby (because of the ears and face), but Dobby died of feline leukemia. His second cat playmate was a Maine Coon/calico named Aphra, who was named after the social commentator/smut writer Aphra Behn - the ex got her in the divorce.

My pooch doesn't even bother to look at me when I try to correct him on something, he turns his face the other way like a stubborn kid!
