At one point on the message board representatives from toy companies would show up and pimp their goods. What happened? Did they get scared off?

LOL, well I wouldn't mind sharing my thoughts on a few toys with the manufactures. I think it could help make a few toys better.

I never noticed them, and it's ashamed. It would be great to have a direct line to those who actually make these toys we spend money on. They might actually listen to some ideas the actual customers might have. I know I have some strong opinions on how a few toys could be greatly improved. I bet I'm far from alone on this too.

Has anyone's support tickets been answered or points accumulated from review posts?

Yeah, sounds like you missed those posts. It wasn't a toy company advertizing here. It was a private party trying to steal attract some of EF's readers. They got shut down like they should have ! Imagine a company paying for a bill board and someone comes along and posts their ad on it. The nerve of them !!

Perhaps I was a little harsh when I said "pimped their goods". I meant to say introduce their toys and solicit feedback from users of their items. I didn't mean sell their toys. I hope the Admin at the time wouldn't shut them down for asking for feedback on their toys.

Admin do not have a problem with their toy suppliers responding to customer questions. Representatives from companies such as LELO and Pipedream used to show up once in a while and answer customer questions. They don't do that anymore since Eden isn't a big supporter of their products nowadays. To be honest, I disliked the replies made by Pipedream, they always lie about the quality of their steel material.

They obviously use a more inferior steel than the wonderful folks at another company I will not mention. Pitting has been a problem with Pipedream's metal line. I don't know if it still is, but, I won't touch their Metal Worx line and that's too bad. I had my eye on 2 of their toys. I didn't care for the packaging but the toys looked interesting.

I believe they're still using lower quality steel than you know who. They only describe their steel as high-quality, premium steel, and did not mention the grade.
