What gets you up and going when you just don't want to get out of bed?

Needing to pee always gets me up. Then once I'm up I usually decide to stay up and get going.

I don't need to get up. I eventually get bored just laying there and find some energy to get up and take a shower/get dressed, IF I get dressed that day. Sometimes.. nothing helps. It just happens.
I usually need some help. I sometimes drink my favorite coffee, a few cups, or my favorite tea to get me going.

I totally understand you...thought I was the only one! lol. I have really bad depression...sometimes I don't want to get out of bed but I usually do to go work. I LOVE to sleep which is bad...I go to bed around 2 am and wake up around noon, terrible I know! Sometimes I get up motivated to work on my EF reviews.

I drink a Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi during the warm months. When it's cold, I will drink a couple of cups of coffee.
There are days that I don't even want to get out of bed either. I've been feeling "blah" a lot lately, where I just don't feel like I have much to look forward to. My sleeping schedule is off too. I'm not on a "normal" routine at all. :/
My cats usually help me get out of bed. They will jump onto the bed and meow at me. One of my cats even steps on my chest and sits there, sniffing my face, and nudges me.

Coffee or tea is always a nice thing, but I've found doing a few quick jumping jacks wakes me up more than anything.

On those days, my kid comes bounding in the room noisily. That usually gets me out of the bed, and after some caffiene I can pass as being awake.

I have no say in the matter my body clock is up before 6am. I do drink green tea though to keep me energized!

I get up. I'm up till around 2 or 3, or I don't even go to sleep and just wait for him to wake up, then go back to bed, take a xanax to relax my shakyness, and sleep.

I understand the "I don't have much to look forward to" thing. I don't really either. I have no responsibilities. I like to keep the house clean. I can't drive anywhere (DMV and doctors literally won't let me), I bake sometimes and make jewelry if I'm in a really good mood.. but I really have nothing to do during the day.

I hope it will get better for you and you will be able to relax a bit more. I know having children is rewarding, but starting out with the little ones, it must be difficult. The rewards will come.
