I guess I'm pretty pliable when it comes to those things... I usually just look anyways, but if they have games, I am all over that section, same with other kinds of electronics..

I love to restore furniture, so yard sales are the best for this!

Just about anything but, shoes, baby stuff (unless I'm buying for someone's baby), Toys not so much anymore unless it's dollhouse type stuff. I refuse to buy used under clothes like panties, bra's or underwear.

I tend to look for furniture because you can usually get good stuff for a fraction of the price of buying something new.

I said other; I avoid yard sales because, well, we have enough junk of our own. Seriously, I know sometimes there are some good deals to be had, but by nature, every yard sale buy is an impulse buy. Maybe on rare occasion you can go out looking for a specific item and succeed, but mostly you kill a lot of time and come home with a bunch of stuff you never intended to buy.

When I need or want something, I go to a store I know has it. Of course, I'm not wired to enjoy shopping; it tends to stress me out. If it is relaxing and fun for you, that's a whole other thing.

I don't buy at yard sales, I'm not comfortable buying used stuff. And you might think I'm crazy, but what if a piece of furniture has some kind of awful history and maybe even a spirit attached to it; I've seen too many scary movies!
