I sometimes find myself so overwhelmed by the present that I can lose sight of my hopes and dreams for the future. Sometimes it's hard to look past the present or the near future. Without worrying about how something will work, what are your hopes, dreams, and desires for your future? If you'd like to, you can expand that to needs as well. Frequently, needs can overpower desire.
They don't have to be profound, they could be simple, but hell, if you want to dream, dream BIG.
Just to get the ball rolling, here's some of mine:
1. I want to become a psychology researcher/experimente r. I want to be published and help make medical advances in the field.
2. I want to be that quirky professor who's friendly, knows their students by name and face, has a bizarre collection of literature, and a swank office where strange music of my youth is playing.
3. I want to travel the world.
4. That gigantic list of things on my bucket list? Yeah, I want to continue adding things to them and check them off on a regular basis. Remember to include photographic evidence.
5. I want to publish fiction. I don't believe that I should be limited to pursuits pertaining to my major.
6. I want to become fluent in Chinese and German, maybe even Arabic.
What are your ambitions?
