My previous discussion was, What Body Part Do You Wash First? Some people mentioned using a washcloth & I realized I had completely forgotten to address this! I do not use a washcloth; I just use my hands because washcloths were always too irritating for me when younger, so I never got in the habit. (When I need to exfoliate, I use a modern, stainless steel, strigil, sometimes with oil.)
I remember reading an article that Europeans favor using their hands, but North American's with their Puritan roots, started using a cloth when bathing as a barrier between the hands & body. This is supposedly the reason when first trying to market shower gels to North America they didn't become accepted until they were offered with a bath poof.
Regardless of all that, what do you use to bathe with?
