I know most people recycle or just toss them in the trash... but i've been keeping them around to make a little playhouse for my cat (once i get more free time and motivation). Do you do anything creative with them?
What do you do with the boxes from UPS?

Either recycle or reuse them, but sometimes we use the tubes for sword fighting.

Nope, I only recycle them.

I Recycle Them Or Keep Them For Storing Random Junk
01/09/2013
I keep them for storing stuff.

Recycle them, or re-use them, or paint on them (instead of canvas or bristol board etc).

I use a few for storage, but otherwise not really. Just recycle or re-use them.

I keep many of them for storage, but I can't keep doing that. Running out of space to put boxes, if nothing else.

If they are big enough, I will re-use them but other than that they are trash cans in my room and I take them out once they get full and throw them away.

use for gifts if there is a holiday nearby...or recycle.

I'll leave them out for the kitty sometimes too! I also will sometimes straighten out the crumpled packing paper, and pile it up on the floor... kitty goes NUTS over that! He'll climb inside to hide, and push on it so it crinkles. Then after a while he's bored and moves on.
I save the packing paper to re-use, and re-use as many boxes as I can for selling on the Classifieds, or mailing care packages. The ones I can't use I recycle.

Our cats love the packing paper and the boxes.
I'll keep the boxes if I have something to ship or needs to be stored.

I've been saving them to pack for a move to a different state, reusing is the way to go.

We recycle them.

I sound like an ass but it is the truth because I am a cheap bitch.... We moved to Oklahoma from Florida and we moved due to money issues we were about to be homeless couldn't pay rent. We move into my husbands aunt's home and she had moved to a different place so the house had all of the left over shit she didn't take to the new home and my gosh it is a lot of stuff. I have been packing all her stuff for a long time now and now using the boxes for her items and putting them in the attic so we can have more room for our items so the boxes help big time for me sounds dumb but like I said it is the truth

Agreed - recycle them - either through re-use or recycling bin.

What a great question. Just today my wife asked me what I planned on doing with teh dozen or so empty UPS boxes. Actually she said "GET THESE F***ING BOXES OUT OF MY SEWING ROOM!!!!"

We reuse a few good sized ones for shipping, otherwise, they get recycled.
01/10/2013
I save them for shipping stuff or recycle them. MY GF can't stand my growing collection, so I have to cull the herd soon.
01/10/2013
I have reused a few for shipping stuff to friends or family. I love that the boxes are plain brown and can be used for anything! The rest end up in the recycle bin.
01/10/2013
I give them to my cats to play with for a few days and then I toss them.
01/10/2013
Some I use for storage, but 90% I just recycle them.
01/10/2013
I re-use them when giving gifts.
01/11/2013
We reuse or trash them...nothing really creative.

We don't have recycling at my apartment complex so they just go into the garbage or I'll reuse them if I can

Mostly I break 'em down and recycle them asap. I keep a few on hand in case we need to mail or store something. I used to keep them, thinking I might need them someday (I admit I have hoarder instincts, lol), but my wife laid down the law!
