What do you do when it snows?

If I go outside, I will sled with the kids and build a snowman. Other times we will just take a walk and admire the falling snow.

I sulk.

I hate the snow. People keep telling me I just need to take up a winter sport/activity, but they are totally missing the point. It's cold out there, and the last thing I want to do is be out in the cold

We usually build snowmen and have snow ball fights with the kids.

I like to just walk around in the snow and look at how beautiful it is. If it's good packing snow it usually ends up turning into a snowball fight.

lil bit of everything

I cry because I have to shovel it.

We walk our dog in the park, enjoying the serene landscape.

It snowed this morning, and I really hope it melts before My Man gets home. I have shopping to do and baking to do (what am I doing here?) and I don't have time nor the desire to shovel. It will melt eventually, but my husband is one of those people who will be out there in the middle of a blizzard shoveling.
I don't get it. Unless there is a foot or more, it will melt eventually. I like to throw down some salt so the steps don't get icy, but I don't see the reason to "shovel" a half inch of snow. Unfortunately, my husband does.... and wants me to do it if he's at work.
I don't like to be cold, either.

I absolutely hate the cold and I especially hate the snow. I stay inside and drink lots of hot coffee to keep me warm.

I have to shovel it where I live. So I'm ready for it. But I do like to throw a few snowballs everywhere.

Last year I built my son a six foot tall slide, an igloo, and a castle the year before. We live in Maine so normally there is plenty of snow. Oddly green this year.

Depends how much snow there is. Most of the time I like to sit inside and stay warm, although I'm not opposed to trying to build a snow man if there's enough snow.

Sledding!!! So much fun. I can't wait to start building snow forts with the kid.

Other: I cry. Because I hate snow. But I dislike the warmer climate areas even more so I can't move.

I love sitting inside in front of my wood stove and watching the snow fall! I curl up with my man and just feel so good!

I love to watch it!

I'm usually sobbing.
Not kidding. Season Affective Disorder blows.

Snowball fight and then take a walk. Then go inside and drink hot cocoa to warm back up!

Stay inside, or shovel!

Doesn't snow where I am... Well, it's "snowed" once in my lifetime (very small hale and enough to look like snow!) and we built a snowman, which melted after an hour. The only time I've been in actual snow, I hated it.

I stay inside. I can't stand the cold!

Writing my name in the snow.....

Doesn't snow in Florida. Might see flakes if it gets that bad, but they melt before they hit the ground.
In Montana, I was okay with snow if I didn't have to go to work or drive in it. I frequently had to call in to work after a snowstorm:
(typical conversation)
Me: K, I can't come in today.
Head Cook: It's only a three foot pack!
Me: I drive a Corsica and I live at the S's Orchard. (The closest paved road has a steep C-curve as well as hills for eight-foot drifts to accumulate at the bottom.)
Head Cook: Crap, forgot. Then dig out your drive and hope the plow comes by tomorrow. Have fun.

I just watch it come down in delight and then plow it with my snow blower in bitterness.
Sometimes the hubby and I make snowballs and throw it at random objects. We live in Michigan, it snows a lot sometimes! But I never had snow while I grew up in California for the first 17 years. I found that I enjoy the cold!

All of he above! Except for "It doesn't snow where I live." It does, it just... hasn't yet this year.

On the rare occasion that it snows where I live, building a snowman seems like the right thing to do!
