We visited our son this weekend and while he's always been a big boy - since he got his last job where he sits all the time - he's definitely put on weight and become what I consider "morbidly obese". He knows this and is trying to do little things (ie, eat salads and cut back on other things that he eats too much of). He wants to get a bike so he can bike to work (about 1 mile) which he used to do before.
I'm concerned about him - very concerned because I'm guessing he's at least 350 pounds at just under 6' tall. His back always hurts and it hurts to walk.
I know no one will really lose weight until its their own desire and they do it for themselves. I don't want to nag at him because I don't want to drive him away.
But is there anything I CAN do for him?
He lives about 3 1/2 hours away...
