What do YOU do to say "in shape"?

On the eve of our first ever full marathon run tomorrow, we have been doing three times a week run/jogs for the last year. On top of that, we have been doing dance lessons weekly getting ready for our daughters wedding next may. We LOVE the dancing, but the running can be a pain, sometimes (literally and figuratively)....but we do it because it IS making us skinnier.

SO...how do YOU keep fit? What exercise to you engage in that you LOVE? Which do you do that you HATE...but do anyway, since it "works" for you?

I was using my treadmill and doing crunches for a while. It worked at the time, but I've since become lazy with working out. I'm sure I'll get back to it at some point.

Elliptical for 45-60 minutes 5 days a week. I also do weights. I try to vary between the ellipticals that utilize the arms and those that just exercise the legs.

I used to run 3 days a week and do strength training 2 days a week. Due to some illness and injury, I had to stop for a time. But now I'm working to get back to the same level I was at before - I am back to lifting weights and walking 5 days a week, and should be back to where I was pretty soon.

Aside from just eating well in general which helps me to stay trim, I love going for late night walks with my dog

if i go to the gym, i use the treadmill & eliptical. i'll sometimes go to the free classes during the week. i've been doing yoga this yr. but i walk to class everyday. my apartment complex is right next to the campus, to it's about a 10 to 15 walk to campus. it takes me anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes to walk to a class, then 20 to 30 to walk back to my apartment.
