I still live in my hometown and there's a lot of things I like about my hometown. I love that I live on the beach, I love that I grew up being able to watch shuttle launches, and I love watching the cruise ships go by while having lunch out at The Port. We have some delicious seafood restaurants here! I also love that I'm only 45 mins from Disney!

I liked leaving it best. It was a dying town.

My current town isn't bad, but it's a bit conservative for my tastes.

I just moved back to my hometown less than two weeks ago. I'm wondering why I ever missed it here. Drivers suck, the weather sucks, the people suck...I miss my old college town

I could probably go n for days about my home town! The biggest perks about it being so small (having it's very own zip code appart from the rest of the area), it was a beach town. I could walk maybe a little more than 100 feet to the ocean from my back yard, and its custom for a the whole town to show up on the main beach to watch the sunset. It's really lovely actually. Another thing is because of it's small size, everyone is so friendly and everyone knows everyone in town, so growing up i had a lot of neighborhood friends.
While the ocean is still really close to my currently (less than 5 minutes driving), i miss being able to see and watch the sunset from my back porch.

I still live in my hometown. I like that it's a mid size town and people tend to be friendly. It's not small enough so everyone knows your business, but not large enough to just get lost in the crowd. There's a decent variety of things to do and bigger cities with more attractions are just a short drive away.

Nothing appealed to me about my home town, and I'm just close to my job where I live now.

Hi, neighbor! (I'm in M.I.)

My hometown is Kansas City, MO - best blues, real barbecue that I still dream about to this day (and never disappointed with the few times I've visited), Nelson-Atkins museum, four seasons, hills, diversity, Loose Park, Swope Park, Country Club Plaza (and the lights during the holidays), KCP&L "castle", fireflies, oaks, Ward Parkway mansions, Worlds of Fun, art district, Crown Center, etc, and most of my extended family is there, so I'm always welcomed.

Damn. I still miss it, even though we moved to Florida 25 years ago. Admittedly, it's one of those places that's grey and slushy during the winter, which is why my mother moved us.

My town is small, so most things are within walking distance, which I love. The downside of it being small is that everyone knows your business.

I live in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains that have little lakes hidden in them. Actually this is the fastest growing area of MT due to the beauty and sereneness.....I love the natural beauty and mountain recreation!

I still live in my hometown & think it's a great place to live, but maybe not the the most exciting for visiting! We have 2 of the top 10 museums in the country, (Art & Natural History), the most libraries per capita of anywhere in the USA, renown art & music schools as well as a top zoo & top botanical gardens. Two of the top hospitals in the world & lots of philanthropy, cultural events, cultural diversity & excellent universities & colleges, are also highlights. And plenty more, yet all I ever hear is bad PR about the place by people who have never been here!
