When bathing, what do you wash first? I almost always start with my face.
What body part do you wash first?

I wash my shoulders first. I usually do my face last, after I've conditioned my hair.

face

my hair, followed by my face. then my body.

I start with my arms, and don't actually even wash my face in the shower. I do it afterwards, in the sink.

Hair first.

I wash my hair first. It is very long and takes a while to rinse through, which leaves me plenty of time to wash other parts of my body while the water rinses my hair.

I always wash my hair first so that I can leave the conditioner in while I do everything else that needs doing.

I also wash my hair first.

I don't know for sure if I have a set way I do things. I did just now shower like 5 minutes ago & I washed my face first. But yesterday, I washed my body first, face second, hair last. I think it just depends for me. Sometimes I do start with my face, but other times I worry it'll just get the face soap in my eyes since I usually leave a mask or my exfoliating soap on for a few minutes.

Face first, then hair, add conditioner, then move onto my body. My arms are washed first, and I work up to my shoulders and then move down the body. Private places are always washed last, right before I rinse the conditioner out of my hair.

Hair first. If you wash your face first, you get all that soap and conditioner in your freshly cleaned and open pores.

My hair is always first.

I shampoo my hair, rinse it out. Then I put conditioner on and let it sit while I wash my body. Then I brush my teeth (it saves time) and then wash my face right before getting out. It isn't always that order in the beginning but I always wash my face last and let my conditioner sit. I also take extremely long showers and having water bill included in my rent was a necessity because I just stand there til the water goes cold lol.

@ Woman China, I wash my face again at the end & my neck/ears/upper back to get any conditioner off!
@ surreptitios, I used to do my face separately in the sink, but now I just keep facial cleanser in the shower!
@ sunflower, what makes you think I don't already keep track of all this? Mmwahhahaha Actually, I do remember lots of it, a I bet you do if you read all the comments friends make -- things just stick in my head like that! Good thing I have some memory loss from my meds, or I would remember way too much!

I start at the top and work my way down. Hair, face, body, etc.
I used to do face then hair. But I learned it's better to do it the other way, especially if you're prone to breakouts along your hair line. That way when you wash your face, you're getting any residue from the shampoo and conditioner that might not have rinsed away.

I re wash my face, & upper body after the final hair rinse, to get rid of any residue from the conditioner for the same reason.

In the Army when we were training "out in the field" I found it amusing that a few of the younger soldiers would say "Damn this washcloth smells like ass" after they had washed their ass first.
That's why you wash Top Down, face first... LOL

I wash my hair first only because I can wash the rest of my while I have my conditioner in.

I'm pretty particular about how i wash myself: Torso, underarms and genitals, hair, and then my face while i let my conditioner set, then usually i'll exfoliate my entier body (if not then just my underarms and under my breast as well as my shoulders) and then rise off.

Hair..or I risk forgetting to rinse or wash it if I am up early in the am.
