School related stress keeps me up a lot. The more I want and need to sleep the less I get of it.

Often times mind races with a clutter of unrelated or a singular dramatic thought(s). If its bad enough I have to get up and lay on the sofa and watch TV, anything but preferably comedy to relax me enough to doze. It doesn't happen often, thank goodness but when it does it can be stressful especially if I have to work the following day.

Restless legs & arms make me INSANE & ironically, the meds I take for it give me insomnia! I also have non-obstructive sleep apnea. And every time I have a migraine, I'm unable to sleep for the duration of it. Basically, if in enough pain, I can't sleep. Other medications, such as steroids, always give me terrible insomnia.

I've always been a very light sleeper & I have adapted measures to counteract things such as noise & light -- eye mask, ear plugs, blackout drapes, air filter machine, removing as many allergens as I can from bedroom...

My cats are always interfering with my sleep, but I rarely get upset about that.
