Weird topic: What kind of razor do you use??

Contributor: ToyGurl ToyGurl
My auntie laughed at me this morning when I was showing her around the house, and she saw two men's razors in the shower. She asked me if I used a men's razor and I said "Of course! They work so much better!".

Does anyone else use a men's razor? If not, what kind of razor do you use? Electric, disposable, Venus Divine?

Well duh, I do.

The wife uses disposable men's razors, one cuz the're cheaper and she gets a better shave.

I use a Shick Hydro and switched from a Shick Quatro. I've used the Venus razors before, and I prefer the men's razors.

I prefer men's razors also. Same ones as Sam. They seem to glide better.

I use disposable women's Bic razors, they're awesome for legs. I've been meaning to try men's razors for pubic hair, I just haven't yet.

I get razor burns easily, so I don't use razors at all.

I totally understand what a couple of you said about women's razors. I had to use a disposable Venus once. Worst.Shave.Ever.

Gillette gives me the least ingrown hairs. "Gender" of the razors doesn't matter to me - I pick the ones that are cheaper at the moment.

i use the venus razor w/ 5 blades. i used to use a men's razor. men's razors do work really well, but i like the moisture bars on the venus. plus the venus i use works just as well as the men's razor i used to use, which also had 5 blades.

I am currently using a Noxema disposable razor with 4 blades. It looks exactly like the Venus, it just costs a bit less. Normally I use the Venus with the disposable head, but I didn't really have the money to spend $20 on new blades.

I normally use the Venus Embrace with 5 blades...but my ferret ran off with yet another razor handle. And the last time I bought blades, the store didn't have the Embrace ones, so I cheaped out and bought the 3-blade ones. Oh goodness, they're AWFUL! So much tug-and-pull *shudders* And I bought the 8 pack. I'm about halfway through and seriously contemplating just pitching the rest and buying my regular stuff on payday.

Venus is the worst one I find. Its that weird head on it i think.

I usually get disposable mens.. unless there is some mega sale and the pink ones are cheaper.

I use replaceable Venus razors and they work well for me. I get less irritation and a closer shave than from razors I used before. I guess everyone is different!

I have these terrible Gilette disposable ones, because the ones I used to get, the good ones, are no longer being sold. These don't last all that long - however, I have noticed that by splashing my face with cold water, the irritation is decreased, and the blades last longer.

I went through various disposables for a long time, but once I found the Gillette Sensor for Women, I stuck with it. I've had it since the early 1990's and it's still in good shape. At this point, I'm just curious to see how long the thing will last!

I use a Schick Quattro that I got on sale. I don't really care what type of razor it is ("mens" or "women's") but I like there to be multiple blades, and guard wires.

I use a man's razor too - Schick Quattro. It gives a really close shave which lasts a little bit longer. I also have an electric shaver/razor for my bikini area. (It's also a man's, I think it's by Wahl, but I can't remember the exact name of it.)

Venus. I don't know how I ever shaved before I started using Venus. Now it's the only one I can use without butchering my legs

I only use mens Gillette Fusion shaver and blades when I use a disposable shaver. But I mostly use my Emjoi.
