We did go into debt to have a wedding...and I'm glad I did it. We made smart choices, and spent the money on the things I really wanted and tried to save on the things I didn't care about....and we didn't have a super pricey dream wedding....but it was exactly what I wanted, and I'm glad I did it!

Absolutely not! We're trying to keep our wedding as low-key and cheap as possible. There's no point in going into debt when starting a new life together...

My wedding was paid in cash or by debit, and it was pretty cheap (and looked it, too).
If I should ever get married a second time, I probably won't go into much debt. The only splurge I can really think of is hiring a professional photographer this time. The rest would be amazing creativity and calling in favors.

Nope, or at least not heavily into debt.

We didn't go into debt for ours, and it actually turned out better than I expected it to originally

I'd prefer not to. My parents seem to think I need to take out a loan to pay for my wedding. I'd rather have a small, intimate ceremony that I can afford so I don't start my married life off with more debt than my student loans.

My wedding was cheap and a hole in the wall wedding nothing to talk or brag about just ready to get my divorce

No I wouldn't. I'm good at finding deals and decorating so I have a lot of mine planned out and it won't break us but would still look decent and definitely show our personalities.

No, I wouldn't. It's one day. Now, I would go all out for things like food but honestly only because food is one of the main reasons I'd go to a wedding.
I know it's one day and a really special day, but not debt worthy. If I can't either save up for it or afford it in general, it's not worth it. I haven't even planned my wedding but I know I'm not going to break the bank or have to be paying it all off for a while.

Hell no. That sounds like a pretty . . . un-wise thing to do. It'd immediately add stress in your new life. No. I would not. Saving up your money (which is what we did to have my dream wedding) is far more worth it. Then, you go into the marriage with only thoughts of how you'll begin your lives together, not by looking for second jobs just to pay off your wedding. Nope. Would not do it. Plus, I'm like a pro when it comes to finding amazing bargains. Some things are just crazy to spend loads of money on. Decorations? You can personalize them and do them yourself for so cheap! There are plenty of things you can do to cut wedding costs, but still have a gorgeous wedding. DIY is my BFF!
