I like roller coasters a lot & water parks always seem slightly...germy...to me. I guess amusement parks are probably equally dirty it just seems like it'd be easier to get infections or fungi or whatnot from public water. I really like lazy rivers, though...those are fun!

Amusement parks in our area have FAR more to offer. We have one water park and as kids, it was a lot of fun, but it was very minimal. Nothing big at all. It's mostly some animal statues squirting water from their mouths. The area there though is gorgeous! However, in recent years, the park has become one of the major crime areas so we all keeep our kids away.

We have some pretty nice amusement parks though!

Although I love water, I picked amusement parks. Last year my girlfriend and I went to a water park and it was awesome, so much fun, many slides, but we did not go back to our table often to reapply our sunscreen. I tend to burn very easily, like 5 minutes in the sun with no protection and i'm a goner. That day I got so badly burnt, i had boils on my shoulders that became infected with yellow pus as well as my face. It was the worst 2 1/2 months of my life. I couldn't do anything, had to sleep in front of the a/c had the hardest time at work. All in all, yes I know I should've reapplied and what not but i'm going to try and avoid the water parks lol.
