Do you have vivid dreams?

Contributor: Rod Ronald Rod Ronald
I've been having some pretty vivid dreams lately, but what shocks me is that when I explain them to people it seems that the majority don't dream the way I do. I actually can feel, smell, taste, everything in my dreams. It's as close to real as it gets.
I was wondering when you dream can you feel everything around your, or are you more or less a ghost in your own head?

I can't feel or taste anything in my dreams and can barely remember them. To the person who voted that they don't dream, that's not true. Doctors say we dream every night.

I'm fully participating and present in my dreams & the moment I wake up I'm still experiencing any feelings.

It depends on the dream. I have felt things in dreams. I don't think I've ever tasted anything in a dream though. Even when I'm hungry and dream about food I see it but never get to taste it.

I usually have very vivid dreams. Smell, taste, touch, color, pain, everything. Though sometimes I can't remember everything exactly about the dream other than the sensations.

I usually don't have vivid dreams, but that has changed the past few weeks. I have been having very strange dreams and they are very vivid - I can feel, smell, and taste things.

Mine are very vivid, and have only gotten more vivid as I've gotten older.

A little bit. Most of mine are about death. Least I'm still alive.

I have vivid dreams that seem almost real, but I've never tasted or smelled anything in dreaming.
