What are you doing this Valentines Day? The site is already featuring hearts, pinkness and luv toys. It makes me wonder what people are doing, if they have plans yet or what is going down.
Valentines Day, what are you doing?

at this point, valentines day is too far away to make any plans, right now at least. but hopefully, we will get to do something special.

It's pretty far away still, but my guess is that we're just going to spend a lot of time together. That's what I would like to do, at least.

My boyfriend and I decided that we're going to stay in and have a nice, romantic candle lit dinner. Just the two of us

Likely have another breakdown.

We're not sure what we're doing yet, since we both work 2 jobs and Valentine's Day is on a Monday. We're going to try and go away either the weekend before or the weekend after, depending on whether or not he can get the time off of work.

Probably try to do anything I can to forget the whole day because I don't have a valentine again this year!
01/20/2011
My wife really hates it.
01/20/2011
All I can say is he better do something nice because for what he's put me through this past year he fucking owes me!!! It's our two year anniversary the day before, and V-day is on a Monday so we may just double up and celebrate both on the Sunday before. If he REALLY loves me then he'll watch football with me and pretend to like it. Seriously, all I want is to watch the playoffs and not have him sigh really loudly and make a snarky comment about how they're all a bunch of over-paid criminals. I know they are...just let me enjoy it anyway!
As for him, I'm going to make him shepherd's pie and roasted vegetables, probably some kind of healthy fruit-centric dessert too in order to balance out all the lamb. And I have a tiny present planned (not a lot of money right now) and a BIG sexy surprise for him after.

Noooo! What would you say if I wrote you a little anti-Valentines Day song, recorded it and sent it to you on the 14th? Becauseeee maybe I'll just do that to cheer you up

I can't wait for Valentine's Day this year, but honestly it probably won't be ON V-Day it will be on the day that my son is off at a friends overnight. I am tempted to start calling his friends parents and beg for an overnight play date. He'd be mortified...teenagers.

It's just another day for me.

We don't have any plans yet. We don't do a lot on VD. ()
We first have Christmas, then New Years, then our anniversary (a week and a half after New Years Day) then my birthday (next week) and by the time we get to Valentines Day, we are presented-out.
My Man will probably get me flowers and candy. That's fine, just so it's good chocolate, not crap like Whitmans. (I hate cheap chocolate. I'd rather have Hershey's than some of the cheaper, gritty waxy lumps of lard that pass for "chocolate" on holidays. He learned early not to get me crappy chocolate.) He usually gets me Fanny May or sometimes Godiva, but Godiva has been slipping in the quality lately and the price is exorbitant. It wasn't too bad, when their quality was the best, but now it isn't much better than Fanny May, so that's probably what I will get.
And flowers, I love flowers. There is one flower I am allergic to and I can never remember the name of it (it has "star" in the name of it, I think, Stargazer Lilies?) and sometimes he gets them for me and I walk around with a snocky nose and itchy eyes for 2 weeks because they take forever to die. But, he's so sweet to get me flowers, I don't say anything until they die and I throw them away. "Uh, I think I'm allergic to those, honey." But, he never remembers.

We're not huge on V-day, but we're big on romance, so it's just a good excuse for her to put on something red (her favorite color) and skimpy for me to enjoy!
BTW - we try not to repeat red and skimpy from Christmas - but if it's really hot, we may give it another go on V-day.

Nom nom nom nom. Those chocolates look yum. (But, for My Man to get them for me he'll have to think about V Day days before. He usually stops at the store on the way home from work on any holiday where I get presents, except for Christmas.)

The Stargazer Lilies are pretty, but they set off my allergies so badly. When my mother got remarried, she had them in her bouquets and my step sister and I were laughing during the LONG mass because my eyes were tearing and I kept sneezing from the flowers.
I hope your honey gets you something nice.
