Our next vacation will be up to Seattle for Sakura-con. If I could head anywhere, though, it'd be Cumberland island. Gorgeous place.

My family and I are going to Huntingtion Lake tomorrow for the day. It's not an extravegent vacation, but it's what we can afford and as long as we are together, any kind of vacation is nice!

I'm actually planning to go somewhere within the state this year. Probably Port Aransas, Corpus Christi, or South Padre Island with the hubby bubby Probably not for a few months though. We have to get a lot set straight and we're dead broke this time of year.

I'd like to travel down to the state below mine for a 2 week holiday and meet up with my Master sometime in the near future - I HOPE.

Then in a couple of years I'm hoping to travel to LA for my very first US holiday!

So many places I want to go ... and no job for money to do it.

Not really a vacation, but a road trip that needs to be done - get my (and the ex-husband's) stuff out of storage in Montana, which is 2800 miles from Florida.

Figured gas would cost at least one grand ... never mind hotels and meals and other stuff needed on trips. Oh, and fixing my Subaru so we can actually make the trip ...

Reminds me, I need to buy a Lottery ticket.

Wish I had money for some real vacations. Hopefully should still be able to do New York Comic Con though. That's like a vacation into the realm of nerdery in itself!

We have not been on a vacation since January 2007 (and aside from our honeymoon, we've only been able to go somewhere other than home for vacation on two other occasions during our 15 years of marriage). We will not be able to afford another vacation for another three years or so, but my dream vacation would be to Italy and Greece. I hope to make that dream come true. There are plenty of other places I'd love to visit, too.

In the U.S., I'd most love to see San Francisco, Napa Valley, the Redwoods, Maine, Washington D.C. (because of the Smithsonian and the cherry trees in spring), Vermont and upstate New York in the fall (for the foliage), and Boston.
