I prefer micro-brews. Here in San Diego, we lucky - there are about a dozen of great craft brewing options.

I like the taste of rum and coke. I'm watching what I eat right now, and alcohol has beaucoup empty calories, so I'll have a light beer (<100 cals) or 2 once in awhile when it compliments my meal. May also splurge on a glass of Drambuie and water occasionally.

I like a white Russian or a Nutty Irishman. I'll occasionally drink beer, but I'm not really all that fond of most well known American style beer. I like English Ale a lot, though. I rather enjoy mojitos and tequila drinks, as well.
