Well, yes and no.

I go by one of two names online, one being "Peggi" which is what I want to legally change my name to, since I hate "Amanda" since it's sooooo common, or "Janessa", which is part of my middle name

Anything I've put out is usually under my online cognomen that I've had for years. If someone comes across that name attached to a story, guaranteed that it's my hack. My online name is quite distinctive.

I've considered a nom de plume since I was twelve, just to be exotic. Although now I'm thinking that it might be a good idea to write under a pen name - that way, I can market the "brand" of whatever name I choose and still retain my privacy with my real name. (Plus side, it would mean getting a whole new wardrobe for the image!)

Well I'm on fanfiction.net with the same name I use here and on deviantart with a different one but if I did get the chance to really publish something I would probably use a pen name. It's more distinctive than if I were to use my real name since there are other people with pretty much the exact same name as me.

Kira is what I go by online and have for some time now. I've used that name across multiple interest groups. My real name is quite common, so I could probably use it and be fine, but I've never been much of a fan of it anyhow.
