Do you get upset if your spouse does NOT wear their wedding ring sometimes?

My husband *never* wears his ring unless it's a special occasion or we're going out of town. He works with heavy machinery so rings are a hazard. He saw a guy get caught in the chain once by his ring and almost lost a finger. After that he wouldn't wear his to work. No point in putting it on and taking it off every day, so he just doesn't wear it. It used it bug me, but not so much after five years. LOL

Though my husband works an office job now, when we were in college he worked for a package delivery company. His ring got dinged, bent, and nearly destroyed from daily wear because of what he was doing. He took it off and hasn't put it back on since. Also, being left handed, he finds it a bit uncomfortable.

I was going to say that even though I don't have a spouse, I wouldn't be upset about not wearing a ring, because sometimes rings are dangerous, but I see that's been covered. On the same topic, I was shocked to see an NFL player wearing his wedding ring on the field last weekend -- it's very dangerous to wear rings during sports, both for your hand and for the ring, which could end up getting cut in half when it won't come off a swollen hand.

No because I rarely wear mine either. It's just too damn tight.

Were you perchance watching the Bills? Our QB is the only one in the NFL to wear his ring.

No--his job is dangerous and known for smashing the ring on the finger--between logs. Plenty of fingers get amputated.....I rather he would not!!
