Here is the article. NO joke. As Americans are getting LARGER.....not just obese, but taller and wider, then prior generations, we find airline seats already WAY too narrow. There is NO WAY to sit in coach without being literally shoulder to shoulder with whoever is next to you. Normal "personal space" is a "dream" on airlines now. These seats are probably six inches or more TOO narrow already...and NOW they want to make them narrower still????
I think that ANY airline executive wanting to make this change needs to spend a minimum of 500 hours, IN THE AIR, in COACH, flying in those seats. THEN let's see what they say?
Anyone else think this move by United is a HORRIBLE idea? I will NEVER book with them again, if this is the way they care to treat customers.
