I don't like it when we have to spring forward or fall back cuz it's difficult for me to adjust to the time changes cuz of my internal time clock. does turning the clock back 1 hour mess up your internal time clock?

It actually tricks my brain into thinking i'm sleeping in an hour later than usual.

Both time changes are really difficult for me. I have a mood disorder and my mood goes all crazy for a month or so after time change. Plus I'll be exhausted for at least a month after. SUCKS!

It doesn't seem to affect me.
11/08/2012
it throws me off a little for a while

Actually this time of year is best for me. It is light earlier and helps me be more awake on time and it gets dark earlier which helps me fall asleep in time.

It didn't affect me.
11/08/2012
no affect here. But I hate changing the clocks every year.
11/08/2012
I have a hard time both ways, but the spring is harder. It takes me about a month to adjust.
11/08/2012
....I slept way later when we put the clocks back, actually.

Yes, it technically fiddles with my internal clock, but I like falling back. I feel like it's later than it actually is, so I have a tendency to go, "Oh, no! It's this time! Oh. Wait. No, it isn't. Okay, good." It's when we go forward an hour that I have difficulties with. I think it's five, but I look at the clock and it's seven. Not fun.

In the fall, I wake a little earlier which is always helpful, but when Daylight Savings takes effect, it messes me up for a while, particularly as I get older.
11/08/2012
Yup. In the beginning, even if I go to sleep earlier than usual I still end up sleepy and drained of energy.
11/08/2012
No, I love this time of year. It's when we have to spring forward that I get really messed up!
11/08/2012
Time changes always throw me off for a week or two. I still have clocks in the house that I haven't set back which only adds to the confusion.

Not at all - it just changes the time of my earliest weekend tee time!
11/09/2012
Nope - I just go w/ the flow
11/09/2012
Not at all.
11/09/2012
It makes my days go by slower!
11/09/2012
Nah, I just roll with it. My internal clock is so messed up anyways, it doesn't really matter.

No, I don't really notice it.
11/09/2012
When we spring forward I notice it and it does affect my internal clock for awhile. With the fall back I seem to not have nearly the problem.

Yes, spring messes me up a lot. I tell myself in the fall I will try to trick myself and get in the habit of waking up earlier, but that never happens...stay up the extra hour instead.
