Aww, don't be. Not everyone minds turbulence or any of the aspects of flying. I get somewhat nervous with ANY form of transportation when I'm out of control. Don't be afraid to fly just because of my experience.

The first few times it scared the hell out of me but over time I have learned to ignore it. When it's your time to die, it's time. Not much you can do about it.

Yes that's quite bothersome. But when a pilot announces he doesn't know what's going to happen I really get bothered by that!

Doesn't bother me and I fly a lot for work. I actually enjoy it a little. Gets the adrenaline and heart rate going.

I've been on two plane trips in my life and I've never experienced turbulence. I know it would bother me if it happened though.

I've flown small aircraft myself as a student pilot and as long as I'm properly strapped in and there aren't loose items to bounce around and hit me during turbulence... it's sort of fun.

For me, it depends on how much turbulence there is. Just a little? No big deal. A lot? Well, then I start getting nervous.

The last flight I took across the Atlantic seemed to have rough turbulence the entire way. That was scary.

It doesn't particularly bother me. I'm not at all a nervous flyer.
It only bothers me if I'm flying with my mother, who is a very nervous flyer, and she'll ask me questions and badger me non-stop until the turbulence is over.

A bump here or there is no problem. But when I'm on a long flight and there is sustained turbulence, that is the worst. I was flying out of Japan last summer and we ran into a spell of strong turbulence that lasted over 45 minutes straight. I conceptually understand that turbulence is not a bad thing necessarily, but it's hard to shake the fear and concern when you are being violently jostled and have no way to stop it.
