I have tried to watch this on the internet for years and I finally got HBO last month. I love that show. And now the ware wolf is on magic mike. I like the whole vampire thing.

I was well into the books before I connected they were related to True Blood. The first few books were good, but I think it went downhill after the fairy stuff (not really a spoiler, because you don't know exactly what's going to happen with that).
The show takes a lot of creative license that I don't like since I read the books. I treat them as 2 separate entities.
