So a conversation earlier with my mom ended with me showing her my entire toy collection that I've acquired from Eden, and then letting her pick one of my glass ones to keep. A week ago I would have thought this would be super bizarre and would have grossed me out. Today, however, it doesn't seem at all like a big deal, especially since it's glass that can be sanitized, and it was one I haven't used in months, and only had used once or twice.

Your thoughts?

The idea wouldn't really bother me, so long as it's something that can be sanitized.

I agree with Kkay. If it can be sanitized, nothing wrong with sharing! And I would do the same for my mom.

Some people don't have that kind of a relationship with their mother to share those types of things. But it is good that you are comfortable enough to be able to do that without it causing any problems.

I'm glad to hear that you have such an open relationship with your mom. For me -- that would be too weird, but it's awesome that it wasn't weird for you.

As for sharing/giving away toys? No problem, as long as the toy can be sterilized.

My mother and I aren't all that open about sex so I think such a conversation and gift would be rather uncomfortable for me but to each their own.
...I sort of wish we could be that open with each other but she's still trying to accept the fact that I'm bisexual and into bondage so I don't think I'll push the issue. x')
