To those with FISH as pets. Do you get really as attached to your fish as you would with some more "cuddly" warm blooded pets?

How attached do you get to your aqua friends?

They are like room decorations. They need care, but I am not really attached to them.

I care about them if they are sick or not behaving right, but if one dies it is not a big deal. I am pretty detached from them.

I care about them as individuals, but certainly not nearly as much as a warm blooded mammalian pet.

I care about them a lot. They are living beings and I am responsible for their lives.

I am equally attached to all the animals in my life.
My significant other is a fish.

Well I love them just as much as any other pet, but it does get frustrating not being able to hold them and cuddle them like you can a cat or dog.
But they're still family, and the one fish I've ever had (A beta fish named Mr. Finley that I got as a reward for a good report card as a kid) lived far longer than he was supposed to because we took such good care of him.
