How attached do you get to your aqua friends?

They are like room decorations. They need care, but I am not really attached to them.

I care about them if they are sick or not behaving right, but if one dies it is not a big deal. I am pretty detached from them.

I care about them as individuals, but certainly not nearly as much as a warm blooded mammalian pet.

I care about them a lot. They are living beings and I am responsible for their lives. but then again.......I care about them if they are sick or not behaving right, but if one dies it is not a big deal.

Well I love them just as much as any other pet, but it does get frustrating not being able to hold them and cuddle them like you can a cat or dog.
But they're still family, and the one fish I've ever had (A beta fish named Mr. Finley that I got as a reward for a good report card as a kid) lived far longer than he was supposed to because we took such good care of him.
