Another idea: if you love animals and are good with them, you might offer to pet-sit for some of your neighbors when they're out of town, or to walk their dogs during the day while they're at work.

While I don't do it for the money, you can pick up extra cash if you are willing to participate in clinical trials. I have recieved $250 to $1500 for various trials.
