With it all over the news this morning, this heavy question is just rolling around my brain, so I figured I would ask it here...with the fine, reasonable, thoughtful folks of EF.
I know the middle east has been a war zone since before recorded time. Sadly, it seems like opportunity after opportunity is lost to achieve a real peace. When Anwar Sadat and Manachim Began sat down and hammered out Peace between Egypt and Israel it was amazing. Then Jordon and Israel were no longer going at it...I really thought MAYBE...now, in the 20th century, peace is a POSSIBILITY. Now, however, I think in the 21st Century it is further then ever from possible.
What are your thoughts on this? Will there ever be peace in the middle east between all parties? Do you think you will see it in YOUR lifetime?
