They say NEWSPAPERS are dissapearing to other media sources. Do you still buy and read a daily newspaper?

Just wondering if this INTERNET SAVVY group still reads the newspaper daily (or even on weekends)?

We still get a Sunday paper, but MOSTLY for coupons. Throw the rest away. Get our news MOSTLY from TV.

I don't get a newspaper, never have. It would be such a waste of paper, since I know I'd never get around to doing more than just glancing through.

My girl buys them for coupons, but she buys every paper she gets.

My parents always took the newspaper, but I never have. And my S.O. is not impressed with our local paper, so he doesn't subscribe either. He gets most of his news from NPR radio shows and PBS t.v.

I get the newspaper four days a week. I used to get it every day until the less expensive paper in our area essentially went out of business. I wouldn't say I get all of my news that way. I get more from radio and TV, but I enjoy reading the cars sections, movies, comics, and doing the puzzles, so there are several things I like in there.

We used to get the paper delivered 7 days a week, until about 5 months ago. I got tired of having to hunt it down in the woods, down the road, in a 3 foot snowdrift, so we cancelled it. (I take offense that our newspaper editors and writers repeatedly make the same mistakes, do not make fact checking a priority, and can't seem to remain unbiased.) Until they deliver only the Sunday paper, I am boycotting the Anchorage Daily News.

No we do not, we look at it online. Shame on us since we should be trying to save newspapers considering my husband is a printer. Without things like magazines, newspapers, weekly ads, post cards, posters, or anything on paper; he would not have a job.

I don't buy newspapers anymore. Most of my news comes from the morning news or public radio. Sometimes I'll browse news sites online, but not usually.

I'm a regular subscriber to my local newspaper, delivered to me every morning, been doing that for years no matter where I live. I do it mainly for the ads and food sections, but I also like to find out what's going on in my part of town. I even have the only Chinese bookstore hold Chinese newspapers and magazines from Hong Kong for me!

I have not purchased a newspaper for 8 years or more. Too expensive for the same info I can find on line or the radio for free. plus they always get facts wrong, and are very biased in their reporting.

I only purchase the paper on Sunday for the coupons. The rest of the week I just read it online and watch the news on television.

My mom pays for a few newspapers that get delivered to the house. If I want coupons I'll go out and buy a paper if I absolutely have to, I just feel bad getting the newspaper I probably won't read. Not that there's no good information or anything in the paper, I'm just not interested in enough of the paper to justify having it for me.

We don't bother with a paper. Our town has a free paper that they deliver weekly, but we never read it. Our paid local newspaper is utter crap, like it was written by high schoolers. When we want info, we watch the morning/evening news, and read online.
