The other day I asked if anyone took any kind of formal lessons. Now specifically if you took martial arts how far did you get belt wise?

My husbands a black belt in Tae Kwan Do, but has issues with his knees now, but can still show a few good moves if he feels like it.

I got to level 3 combatives, I did a special riot training and a prison self defence while I was in the Army. The combatives courses are a mixture of brazilian jujitzu, wrestling and strikes. They were fun as hell, but some of this stuff really starts to hurt after a while. My wife got tired of me coming home with all kinds of bruises, cuts and every once in a while I would get some burns. But it is really cool stuff to show my 13 year old brother in law. Show a kid how to properly choke someone out, or dislocate different joints in the body, you will have a friend for life. I'm kidding about the last part, well kind of. He knows not to use it uness some kids just starts beating on him.

But I don't have any other kind of training in other disiplins.

I got to my yellow belt in tae kwan do/kickboxing.

I dropped out after this girl, whom was SMALLER THAN ME, nearly almost broke my legs with a grappling move.

Ow.

I am a yellow belt in Aikido, but not a fan of testing. I have been studying 2 years. Escrima doesn't have a belt system, you just become a bad ass over time and start picking up and messing around with random objects. We just laugh and compare broken knuckles and interesting bruises. I have been studying that for about a year and a half. Two completely different, but strangely complimentary arts.
