The Femitheist...what do you think?

Contributor: Badass Badass
In recent days I have stumbled up on this blog.
link

I'm entranced by her, but also kind of frightened. I'm a feminist, but not to that degree, and some of her thoughts... are kind of creepy in my opinion.. In one blog she talks about An International Castration day, and that just blew my mind...
"It is my belief (which I consider factual based on my research) that all men SHOULD be castrated. Not only for their own safety, but for the safety of all innocent women and children.

And, to achieve this...

The entire world should have an international holiday known as: "Castration Day"

Males of all ages will be brought to the public squares of their cities nude, to stand together in a circle, as they await castration by a woman known as "The Castrator", who will be a woman chosen from the public much like a juror.

Girls of all ages will attend, lining the streets to cheer and applaud the males as they join the rest of civilized society."

"The males will then have one hour to get to know their Castrator. Their female "spouse" will also be able to choose whether or not they would like to milk the male in order to retain a sperm sample.

If the male is too young for a "spouse", their mother or closest female relative will decide."
And those are just two pieces from JUST the castration post...

Do you think the Femitheist is a crazy person? Or could you be about her kind or feminism?

Cracked Dot Com would love her ... or suppress her.

Misogyny does go both ways, though.

She even has a YouTube channel. She never shows her face, but says she's a 20-something year old single mother in college. I think it's safe to say where she got her hatred of men from.

I consider myself a feminist and I absolutely think she's abhorrent.

I believe in being strong, responsible and proactive women but this isn't feminism this is sickness. My men are amazing and their balls do not make them 'uncivilized'. We need to start celebrating our men not castrating them...FFS!

I stand for equal rights, and I support most anyone willing to fight to get rid of intolerances and discriminations in the world. That being said I also never approve of stooping to the level of those who oppose, nor do I support any radical ideas, and this surely goes down as a radical idea(s). I honestly find it hard to believe that someone could think that ideas like this could do anything other than damage the true cause/movement many other individuals support. Be logical about this, you are doing exactly what the other side is doing here this is just as sexist as a male calling a woman a 'bitch' or saying that a woman couldn't do a 'man's job' for whatever bull excuse a sexist male might give.

It's sad because radicals will always exist in a cause... and the worst part about it, is if the wrong media source gets a hold of ideas like these they can do more harm, and destroy so much for the movements they 'support'...

I think she's insane. Feminism doesn't mean "hating men" but too many think it does.

There was a crazy, really crazy woman back in the 60s called Valerie Solanas who put out what she called the S.C.U.M. Manifesto. Society for Cutting Up Men. She was nuts... then she went on to shoot and nearly kill Andy Warhol. Reminds a little of an author of one of the books sold on Eden, which I reviewed, which is supposed to be about "female orgasm" but instead she's always talking about how "men have ruined the planet." Total craziness....

I love men in all shapes, sizes forms and colors. I am in a "post feminist" phase of my life now, and I certainly don't see anything funny about killing or hurting any man, there are many men I know and love and most of the rest are good human beings.

It is actually called "Misandry" It's the hatred of men and boys. Sick, indeed.

I took a peek at this person's blog. (She has... thirteen followers. Not a huge following, thank heavens.) She goes on about "pacifism" then talks about killing and maiming men.

This part of her manifesto reads: All people should understand that the long-term solution, elimination (liberation), is a necessary and inevitable component of this doctrine. Yeah, HITLER said the same g*ddam things. Fucking nut.

The more I read, the more this woman pisses me off.

Ah, thanks. We usually hear about the misogyny bit, but never the proper word for 'man-hating'.

Seriously, if this were a guy saying this about women, something would be done.

As of right now, ignore her and don't feed the troll.

Exactly. She is the kind of person who feeds on attention. Posting on her blog will only encourage her. If a man had a a blog with the kind of hatred towards woman on it, it would probably be removed by his ISP. It IS Hate Speech. She makes the assumption that all women want soft, feminine, non-virile men. Some of us LOVE men that are tough and rough, muscular and horny Alpha Male types.

She makes a lot of assumptions about what she thinks other women want. Problem is, few women want the kind of violent, hatred filled vitriol towards men that she calls for.

Many of us were abused and assaulted at one time, if one is healthy, it doesn't cause one to hate ALL men.

She just sick. Her verbiage belies mental and emotional instability. I'm not going to waste any more time on her insanity.

I agree, this woman just needs to be ignored, but part of me also says she needs pysch treatment! It takes a lot of hatred to spew that kind of stuff onto a blog, sounds like she has real issues.

I for one have been told by a "feminist" like her that I set the equal right movement back by 50 years by expressing my view. I believe that men and woman are different, we should celebrate our differences, embrace them and encourage each other to respect and love our differences, but in no way does that mean we don't deserve the same basic human rights.

I have a pretty good idea of what she'd think of me

You almost make people want to root for what you go against when you attack an entire group. So a few men burned you in the past, to attack the entire group is just silly. I've been teased by blonds in the past, do I hate all of them, NO!

That is repulsive! I was going to say the same thing Chilipepper said - if this were a man saying this stuff about women, there would be outrage! I am still outraged by it.

Absolutely ridiculous rubbish. I don't know if she's insane, but I will say that her ideas and philosophies are completely and utterly stupid and insulting to humans everywhere.
