DO teeth continue to move/shift as an adult?

im 23 and my top teeth have always been straight my bottom front have been crooked and I was just looking at them and i notice a big differnce they seem to be getting more crooked is this possible? could my wisdom teeth be making my other teeth move?

Your wisdom teeth can shift your other teeth and make them more crooked. I'm the same age as you and my dentist recommended I get my wisdom teeth out several years ago so that they wouldn't undo all the work that my braces did.

yes they do!I dont have my wisdom teeth and mine have shifted...my front tooth was only slightly crooked and now its way crooked and over lapping the other..I hate hate hate it.when i really noticed i went into a panick attack but i cant afford braces right now

Yes, that is one reason why they take the wisdoms out. I have a small mouth so the dentist wanted mine out before anything could happen. I had them out as a teenager.

Yes, and getting the wisdom tooth out doesn't prevent it completely. Invest in some retainers if you are concerned.

Yep. Even after getting my wisdom teeth out, my top row of teeth have shifted. Ive had braces so it's really noticeable.

Oh yes, they can. You need a retainer. And sometimes, even a retainer can't stop the shifting.
I already had braces but because they messed up on one tooth, there was a domino effect and now all my teeth are worse than before!
