When someone is being insulting, rude, hypocritical or judgmental do you take the time to point out the fallacy in their arguments or do you just let it slide? Does it depend on what the subject matter is?

It depends on the subject and how much I know on it/ how much of an ignorant prick I think the guy is. Most of the time I'll just let it slide though.

It really depends on the situation. With some people, you're just wasting your breath.

Depends on the person and the topic. If it's someone that means nothing to me, then more than likely i'll ignore them. Unless of course I'm in the mood to prove to someone what a dip shit they are

Yeah, it definitely depends on the situation and person. I try to be slow to confrontation when possible until I know the situation thoroughly. Sometimes, though, the gloves have to come off.
