I prefer black and white as well. I have one with red accents on it, but no other colors. I don't like lots of color on tattoos. It gets to be too much, I think. Especially when it's someone with a lot of tattoos and tons of colors all over. I think if it's black and white with one or two colors accented through it, then that looks nice.

Black and whites look good and so do color, but I suppose I like black and white better on others.

I think it depends on the individual piece and over-all cohesion.
I'm really partial to luminous cyan-leaning blues.
My favourite pieces that I can think of are all colour, now that I think about it.

I think it's less about color and more about style. I've seen a lot more one-color tattoos that are blue, also, and I think that the less-intense color can make for pretty designs.
I tend to prefer line drawings to a lot of rendered art (both on people's bodies and in places like comic books) and there's less that could go wrong/look out of place in a one-color tattoo than a full-color tattoo. That's not to say there's no such thing as a gorgeous, tasteful multicolor tattoo. Someone I used to know had a pair of small, full-color peacock feathers on her abdomen, and I think that's some of the prettiest tattooing I've seen.

I have a black and gray, and I have a colored one. The colored ones are more maintenance for sure.

Both, but only with certain designs.

both, really. my first tattoo was coloured in, but the next I'm getting is most likely going to be all black with shadows and highlights. depends on the tattoo design, really.

I think shadows are my favorite part of tattoos. I definitely like black and white better.

i like both

I like both, depending on the person it's on and the design of the tattoo. Pretty much all of mine have color though, because I like that for myself.

I like black.

Black or no tattoo at all.

I doubt I will ever get a color tattoo but they can look nice if done well. I knew a girl with some badass cheetah print on her side, actually.

i had a white one, later redone in black. wish i'd left it white.
i've seen maybe one colored tattoo ever that i really thought i might get on myself.

I only have black, but I think it depends on the tattoo.

i like both

I have all black and grey ink, but I am planning on getting a few touches of colour in my next piece.
