Do you have table lamps by the bed?

Contributor: duff duff
We have a nightstand on each side of the bed and both have a table lamp. I was curious if everyone had reachable light by their bed. I hate walking in the dark...more times than not i hit my shin and or toes. Grrr.. atleast once a week i get a bruce. Right now i have 4 on my right shin and 2 on my left

Well the only light in the room is a lamp that's on the headboard, but I do have to get up to shut it off because it's too high up to reach from the bed.

Luckily, we keep the bathroom light on at night, so I don't usually bump into anything.

Usually the tv is on when the light goes off. So there is a light from somewhere to get me across the room.

We have lamps on our nightstands, but we also keep our 4 watt nightlight on all through the night - you should get one too.

My only light source is the overhead light. I don't have any lamps in my room, so I have to get up and cross the room for any light. There are many many obstacles in my room, but I know where everything is by memory and I usually don't bump into anything.

I can't imagine not having a lamp I could reach. What a pain that would be!

No and I NEVER turn my lights out. LOL. I do have a nice pink double lamp by my vanity. I don't turn my bedroom lights out because they will never come back on if I do. It blows them everytime, so I've had to get used to sleeping in the light. I miss it!

I have one, but I can also reach the pull for the main light from my bed, so I usually just use that unless I'm reading.

My husband has one on his side that's within his reach, but mine connects to the lightswitch by the door, so I have to get up and turn it off.
