Apparently today is the day when most people call in to work sick. So tell me, did YOU?

Stay at home mom, so I am always working.

Interesting that this would be the most called in day. Looks like most everybody is in the office here today (and I am as well).

Stay at home mom, hubby went in though

I wasn't working today, so I'm home. I would have gone to work if I had a Consult or a shift.
My Man insists that the Superbowl is a "Secular Holiday" and the day after should be a holiday, like New Year's Day or something. But, he went into work anyway.

I managed to drag my butt in to my 8 o clock class.

I didn't even watch the Superbowl, so no effect.
My company is clever about (other) holidays, though. If you call in the day before or after, you don't get your double time for the holiday.

Yeah, no change here.

I don't much care about the Superbowl one way or the other. And I get really annoyed when some of my co-workers call out over stuff like this. Come on, guys, don't leave me to handle the department by myself if you're not sick!

Never watched the Super Bowl, and I work from home, so I can do whatever I please. I guess you could call it a day off, but I've been doing laundry, cooking, cleaning all day instead of writing. Blech...

I worked today, but WANTED to call in sick. Seems to me it would be way too obvious though.
02/06/2012
I went to work today. It wasn't too bad, but I didn't go in until four or so.
02/06/2012
Aha nope, today was a workday for me.

I am not really a fan of football. So this question really doesn't apply to me.

I didn't watch the game so it wouldn't have mattered anyway. I didn't have work today but I did go to class.

the shop that i work at is closed on mondays, so i lucked out

I happened to be scheduled off but I also worked during the actual game. I couldn't care less.
My last job you got a write up if you called off the superbowl or the day after.

Didn't work today, but I would not skip work over the super bowl. I don't watch the super bowl because it seems it focuses more on vulgar things than the sport.
